The answer

If a creditor company offers to accelerate the payment of a debt before its due date in exchange for a reward, this is known as the issue of "pay less for prompt payment" (da‘ wa ta‘ajjal). The majority of scholars prohibit this because it is considered usury (riba). However, some scholars, such as Ibn Abbas, Ibn Taymiyyah, and Ibn al-Qayyim, permitted it on the condition that there was no prior agreement to this effect at the time of the contract. This is the view adopted by the Islamic Fiqh Academy. Based on this latter opinion, there is no harm in accelerating the payment of the debt and benefiting from the reward.
