Do grave sins fall away with Hajj, Umrah, and sincere repentance?

A person is not absolved of major sins except through sincere repentance that fulfills its conditions: abstaining from the sin, regretting having committed it, and resolving not to return to it, in addition to restoring rights to their owners if the sin pertains to the rights of created beings. Repentance wipes away all previous sins, even polytheism (shirk (definition)), as Allah Almighty says: "Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous deeds. For them Allah will change their evil deeds into good ones," and His saying: "Indeed, Allah forgives all sins." As for Hajj and Umrah (definition), they do not expiate major sins unless one performs Hajj or Umrah having repented from them. The five daily prayers, and from one Friday prayer to the next, and from one Ramadan (definition) to the next, are expiations for what occurs between them, provided that major sins are avoided.
