How can one begin to fully commit to Islam, including performing the five daily prayers and wearing the correct Islamic attire, to be a true Muslim?
True Islam necessitates adherence to its rulings, the most important of which is prayer, for it is the pillar of the religion and the covenant between faith and disbelief, and abandoning it is disbelief. Therefore, one must safeguard it and all other rulings of the , such as the . Among the things that aid in steadfastness are reading the Quran, the Prophet's biography (Sirah), and the biographies of the righteous, as well as choosing righteous company. One must also hold oneself accountable, in compliance with the words of the Almighty: (O you who have believed, fear Allah. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allah), and prepare for the Hereafter by performing acts of obedience and abandoning sins, all with sincerity and supplication for guidance and steadfastness.
