Is the prayer of one who enters the mosque having eaten garlic or onions, or whose smell is offensive, or who has a contagious disease, invalidated, or is it valid with sinfulness?

The prayer of one who comes to the mosque having eaten garlic, onions, or leeks is valid. Its validity is not affected by the prohibition against approaching the mosque or by the harm caused to Muslims. However, it is disliked for one who has eaten these to attend the mosque. Jurists have analogized to these all things with an offensive odor, such as radishes, or one with severe halitosis or a wound emitting a foul smell. The majority of jurists hold that this is restrictively disliked (makruh (definition) tanzihi), while the Zahiris are of the opinion that it is forbidden.
