Is the prayer valid if one recites the entire first tashahhud without saying: "Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah"?

Scholars differ on the ruling concerning the first tashahhud (definition). It is clear that the previous prayers are valid according to the majority of scholars. As for the Hanbalis, if the first tashahhud is omitted due to forgetfulness or ignorance, the prayer is valid, and this is compensated for by the prostration of forgetfulness (sujud (definition) as-sahw), which is waived if a long interval passes. However, if it is omitted intentionally, the prayer is not valid according to them. There is no harm in adopting the view of the majority concerning the validity of the prayer. It is advisable to be diligent in performing the tashahhud completely in the future to earn reward, avoid scholarly disagreement, and follow the Sunnah (definition).
