Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
The obligatory prayers are five: Dhuhr, four rak'ahs; Asr, four rak'ahs; Maghrib, three rak'ahs; Isha, four rak'ahs; and Fajr, two rak'ahs. The Prophet (peace be upon him) clarified the times for these prayers by saying: "Jibreel (peace be upon him) led me in prayer twice at the House... And the time for prayer is what is between these two times."
