What is the ruling on someone who embraced Islam but continued to eat pork due to their inability to give it up, and are their prayers, fasting, and fulfillment of Islamic obligations permissible in this situation?

A person should hasten to embrace Islam. If he converts and tastes the sweetness of faith, he will abandon forbidden things, including pork. Explain to him that this religion came to bring happiness to people, and it only prohibited impure things that harm humans. If he continues to eat pork after embracing Islam, this is better than him remaining in disbelief, because in Islam he is disobedient to Allah and under His will, whereas a disbeliever will abide eternally in Hellfire. If he embraces Islam, he must pray, fast, and perform all the obligations of Islam. Avoiding pork is obligatory because one of the conditions for the validity of prayer is purity from impurities.
