The answer

Illness is an excuse to miss Jumu'ah (Friday prayer) and congregational prayers. If your attendance increases your illness, delays your recovery, or you fear harm, then Jumu'ah and congregational prayers are not obligatory for you. You must act upon the advice of trustworthy doctors to stay home to avoid potential harm.
