What is the ruling on my work at a roadside rest stop that prevents me from attending Friday Prayer on a daily basis?
If the resting place where you work is not in a village and there is no nearby village where Friday prayer is established, or if it is not in a place inhabited by people, then Friday prayer is not obligatory upon you, and you should pray Dhuhr.
However, if the resting place is in a village where Friday prayer is established, or close enough to it that you can hear the call (to prayer), then you must strive to attend it, and it is forbidden to neglect it for work.
And if your leaving work to perform the Friday prayer would result in your dismissal from work, and you cannot easily find an alternative, then there is no harm upon you in missing the Friday prayer and praying Dhuhr, while striving to seek employment that does not conflict with performing prayers.
