What should one do who suffers from a constant release of wind ( سلس ريح) if wind is emitted after performing ablution for Friday prayer or during it?
Abandoning prayer is a grave sin. The sin of intentionally missing a single prayer is greater than committing adultery, stealing, drinking alcohol, and killing a soul.
A person afflicted with سلس (urinary incontinence) should perform ablution (وضوء) for prayer after the prayer time has begun, and then pray the obligatory prayer (فرض) and as many supererogatory prayers (نوافل) as they wish with that ablution.
It is permissible for a person afflicted with سلس to perform ablution for Friday prayer before the sun declines (زوال) in order to arrive early.
One who has abandoned prayer must hasten to repent and maintain their prayers, and they must make up for the prayers they missed.
