How can missed prayers be made up after breaking the fast in Ramadan, after having left prayers for 12 days due to bleeding that was considered menstruation but then turned out to be a miscarriage?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
If blood is discharged with a miscarriage before the fetus is formed, it is considered irregular bleeding (dam fasad) and does not prohibit prayer or fasting. Therefore, a woman who stopped praying and fasting due to this blood during the first month of pregnancy must make up what she missed as soon as she remembers or when the excuse is gone. She should make up the prayers consecutively unless that becomes difficult for her.
