Is falling short in some religious duties, such as morning remembrances (adhkar al-sabah), Duha prayer, and Quran recitation, due to time constraints during university exams, an indication of Allah's wrath? The supererogatory (Nawafil) acts of worship that the questioner missed due to her preoccupation with reviewing her study curricula are not held against her. However, it is advised to combine the supererogatory acts with studying as much as possible, because acts of worship draw one closer to Allah and assist in memorization and comprehension. She is also urged to turn to Allah with sincerity and devotion so that it becomes easy for her to combine both matters. What was missed of the supererogatory acts can be made up after the exams conclude.
