Numerous missed prayers must be made up in a way that does not harm one's body or wealth, such as weakening the body, fearing illness, or being unable to manage one's finances. A Muslim should make up their missed prayers to the best of their ability. It is not necessary to abandon studying to make up prayers; rather, they should be made up outside of study times.

As for masturbation, it does not necessitate ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) unless semen is discharged. If someone prays while in a state of janabah (definition) (major ritual impurity), their prayer is invalid according to the majority of scholars, even if they were unaware, and they must make up those prayers.
