Must one make up prayers missed based on the assumption that they were due to continuous abnormal bleeding connected to menstruation, when it later became clear that it was a separate instance of abnormal bleeding not followed by menstruation?

Istihadah (definition) (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding) does not prevent obligatory prayer or fasting. The woman experiencing istihadah is like a ritually pure woman in this regard, by consensus, and there is no difference whether the istihadah is continuous with menstruation or interrupted. If it is established that the bleeding is istihadah and not menstruation, then the woman must pray and fast during Ramadan (definition), and it is not permissible for her to abandon prayer. All prayers missed during the days of istihadah must be made up.
