Should you sever your relationship with your neighbor who does not pray and whom you sometimes feel lies about her prayers, or should you continue to advise and remind her, and for how long?

This woman needs advice by clarifying the importance of prayer and its fruits. If she is truly afflicted by jinn, then efforts must be made to treat her with legal ruqyah (definition), as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever can benefit his brother, let him do so." If it becomes clear that she is lazy in performing prayers, then the best approach to rectify her should be followed. If boycotting her will deter her and lead to her repentance, then she should be boycotted, as Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said: "And whoever is known to openly abandon obligatory duties or commit forbidden acts deserves to be boycotted, and he should not be greeted as a way of rebuking him for that until he repents." However, if boycotting her would only worsen her condition, then she should not be boycotted, and advising and reminding her should continue; for for some people, reconciliation is more beneficial than boycotting, and for others, boycotting is more beneficial than reconciliation.
