The answer

A Muslim must take the necessary measures to wake up for prayer, coupled with sincere intention. If sleep overwhelms him, there is no sin upon him, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “There is no negligence in sleep; rather, negligence is on him who misses a prayer until the time of the next prayer enters.”

He should also follow helpful tips for waking up, including: supplicating and being sincere to Allah Almighty, sleeping on the right side, sleeping in a state of ritual purity, going to bed early, choosing a suitable bed, observing the prescribed remembrance before sleep, and avoiding sins and transgressions.
