Is it necessary to perform ablution (wudu'), face the Qiblah, and wear prayer garments when making Istikhara supplication during menstruation?

The Istikhara prayer is not valid for a menstruating woman. However, it is permissible for her to recite the Istikhara supplication. She is not required to perform ablution (Wudu), face the Qiblah, or wear modest clothing before the supplication. Ablution performed by a menstruating woman does not remove ritual impurity due to menstruation, and her ritual bath (Ghusl (definition)) from a previous state of major impurity (janaba) is not considered valid by the majority of scholars.
