What is the ruling on a mother abandoning prayer due to the difficulty of performing ghusl (ritual bath) after major ritual impurity, and is it permissible for her to delay the prayer until shortly before the adhan (call to prayer)?

The mother commits a major sin, one of the gravest, by intentionally abandoning prayer. Therefore, she should be continuously advised and called to Allah, and it should be clarified that ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) is an obligation that is not waived due to hardship as long as she is able to perform it. It is permissible for the husband to approach his wife whenever he wishes, and she is not allowed to refuse on the grounds that ghusl is difficult, as this is not an excuse for abandoning prayer or performing tayammum (definition) (dry ablution). As for delaying prayer until the end of its prescribed time, it is permissible, though contrary to what is most preferable.
