What is the ruling on the fast of one who bathes during the day in Ramadan with hot water, and inhales the steam that forms in the bathroom, whether that is due to a wet dream and his necessity to pour hot water on his private parts to expel remaining semen, or he was bathing with hot water while fasting without being in a state of janabah?

A fasting person inhaling steam from a hot shower does not break the fast because it enters the body involuntarily without intention. If semen is expelled by splashing hot water on the private parts without pleasure or desire, it does not invalidate the fast and does not necessitate a ritual bath (ghusl (definition)). The fast of the day on which this occurred is valid, and observing it as a make-up fast is considered a supererogatory fast. The fast of the six days of Shawwal is valid, and there is no need to repeat it.
