If the bleeding, even if it is yellowish or brownish discharge, continues, it is considered menstruation as long as it does not exceed fifteen days. If it exceeds this period, it is considered (prolonged non-menstrual bleeding), and the woman must perform (ritual bath) and wudu' (ablution) for every prayer, and she may fast. She is considered ritually pure in terms of what is permissible and impermissible.
