The answer

If the impurity is wet, it should not be left on clothes and one should not sleep in them, to avoid defiling the bedding and pure clothes. However, if the impurity on the clothes is dry and does not come into contact with anything wet, then whatever touches it does not become defiled. One should hasten to remove the impurity.
