The question

What is the ruling on the purity of land on which a garment stained with urine was placed, with doubt about its wetness, after the garment was removed? And what is the ruling on the impurity of the place where a child sat who urinated on himself and did not wash, in the car? And does the hand of someone who touched a dry mattress, part of which was stained with urine, become impure, without knowing the affected spot, and without knowing if he touched the impure part?

The answer

The default state of things is purity until impurity is proven with certainty. Your feet do not become impure merely by walking on ground where impure clothes were placed, and the ground does not become impure merely due to doubt about its impurity. We advise you to turn away from obsessive doubts and not pay attention to them, because the original state of affairs remains as it was, and impurity is not determined by mere doubt; rather, certainty is required.
