Is it permissible for a woman who has undergone a facial peel and fears harm from using water to perform tayammum for prayer?

The face must be washed during ablution because Allah Almighty says: "wash your faces." It is not permissible to omit washing the face except for an excuse, such as a confirmed harm to the skin as determined by a doctor or by experience. In this case, it is permissible to move to direct wiping with water, or wiping over a bandage. If that is not possible, it is permissible to move to Tayammum (definition) (dry ablution) when there is fear of harm from using water.
