We advise taking your time and being thorough in memorizing the Quran, and to persist with even a small amount, while regularly reviewing what has been memorized. The best times for memorization are before and after Fajr. One must have sincere intention for Allah in this endeavor, and there is no harm in accepting an encouraging reward. Memorizing the Quran strengthens memory.
