Is the blessing and advocacy on behalf of its reciter on the Day of Resurrection achieved by reciting Surat Al-Baqarah in its entirety at once, or by dividing it over two or more days? And does the same apply to Surat Al Imran? And is praying two rak'ahs then Witr before Fajr, after a person has slept, considered Qiyam al-Layl (night prayer)? And is it permissible to sleep before Witr and pray Witr before Fajr?

Surat al-Baqarah has immense virtue. On the Day of Resurrection, it will intercede for those who recited it. Taking it (reciting it regularly) is a blessing, and abandoning it is a regret. The sorcerers (al-batalah) cannot overpower it. There is no difference between reciting it all at once or in separate parts.

Qiyam (definition) al-Layl (night prayer) begins after the 'Isha prayer and ends with the dawn. Its minimum is one raka'ah of Witr prayer. Its best time is the last third of the night. One who prays with ten verses is not counted among the negligent. One who prays with a hundred verses is counted among the devout. And one who prays with a thousand verses is counted among those who amass great rewards (al-muqantireen). What was mentioned regarding the prayer is considered correct and part of Qiyam al-Layl.
