What should a worshiper do if, during prayer (after Al-Fatihah, or during bowing or prostration), he remembers that he made a mistake in a word or forgot a verse from Al-Fatihah? Should he return to Al-Fatihah from the beginning, or correct the mistake and continue? And if repetition from the beginning is required, is "Amin" considered part of Al-Fatihah in this ruling? And what should he do if he doubts a pillar, then performs it, then remembers that he had already performed it? Should he continue the Tashahhud from where he stopped, or repeat it from the beginning?

If a worshiper remembers that they omitted a verse from Surah (definition) Al-Fatihah or made a mistake in it while reciting the surah, they should recite the omitted verse or correct the word and repeat what comes after it from Al-Fatihah. They are not required to repeat the entire Al-Fatihah. If they remember this while bowing (ruku') or prostrating (sujud (definition)), they must return to the standing position and do what was mentioned previously, then complete their prayer. However, if a worshiper doubts whether they performed the bowing and then remembers that they did, they should complete the remainder of the tashahhud (definition) and are not required to repeat it from the beginning. Prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw) is prescribed for the worshiper after the salutation (taslim (definition)) in cases where there was an addition, but the prayer is not invalidated by omitting it.
