What is the ruling on sterilizing a Mus'haf that was touched by a menstruating woman while she was tidying the room?

It is not permissible for a person in a state of minor or major ritual impurity (hadath (definition) asghar or hadath akbar) to touch the Mushaf (definition), based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "None shall touch the Qur'an except one who is pure." If a woman intentionally touches the Mushaf while menstruating without necessity, she must repent. The Mushaf is pure and does not need sterilization, and the body of a menstruating woman is pure; her being prohibited from touching it is out of reverence for the Mushaf.
