What is the ruling on touching the Qur’an without ablution with repeated action, and is that considered disbelief?

Touching the (copy of the Qur'an) for one who is not in a state of ritual purity is not permissible according to the majority of scholars. Whoever intentionally does so commits a sin. However, this act does not reach the level of disbelief (kufr), because some jurists have permitted touching the Mushaf for one who is in a state of minor ritual impurity ( asghar). What happens to you might be due to laziness in performing wudu' or from the whispers of (obsessive doubts).
