Is donating a plot of land for the establishment of a sports and cultural youth center that includes religious lessons and a headquarters for a charitable organization considered impermissible (haram), especially with concerns about the gathering of immoral youth, and if permissible (halal), is this donation considered sadaqah (charity) or waqf (endowment)?

If the center is managed by righteous individuals who invite young people to goodness, prevent forbidden acts, and regulate the hall according to Islamic law, then there is no objection to donating land for it. This would be an act of proximity [to Allah] and an ongoing charity (sadaqah (definition) jariyah). However, if these conditions are not met, then donating is not permissible, out of fear that it might be exploited for corruption. It is advisable to donate it to a mosque that gathers Muslims and where da'wah (preaching), cultural, and service activities are held.
