Is it obligatory to inform the employer about a deceased supervisor's theft of his money, or to conceal it for fear of depriving his family of assistance?
If the supervisor is alive and has embezzled money from the employer without his knowledge, and the way to return the money is by informing the employer, then you must inform him to establish justice and support both the wronged and the wrongdoer. However, after the supervisor's death, the continuation of this ruling and the uncovering of the deceased's secret to inform the rightful owner of his right, depends on the possibility of recovering the right from the deceased's estate. If informing the employer leads to the recovery of his right from the supervisor's estate, then informing is obligatory, giving precedence to the right of the rightful owner. But if informing the employer does not provide a means for him to recover his right, then concealment remains obligatory.
