Slaughtering chickens is not sufficient for the '. It is stipulated that the sacrifice must be from camels, cattle, or sheep, as Al-Nawawi said: "The condition for a valid sacrifice in is that it be from livestock, which are camels, cattle, and sheep... and nothing other than livestock is sufficient." The 'Aqiqah is a that is waived for those unable to perform it.
