Is it permissible to designate Friday for celebrating a personal occasion, such as celebrating a young son, based on the fact that this day is an Eid for Muslims, as stated in the noble Prophetic Hadith?

Friday is a recurring weekly Eid (festival) for Muslims, in addition to Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, the Day of Arafah, and the Days of Tashreeq, which are days of eating and drinking. What is legislated on these Eids is to follow the guidance of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his companions, such as performing ghusl (definition) (ritual bath), perfuming oneself, and attending the Friday prayer. No specific greeting for Friday has been reported, as has been reported for Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Rather, the greeting reported from the Companions was by saying: "May Allah accept [good deeds] from us and from you." Designating Friday to celebrate a young boy by dressing him in good clothes, perfuming him, and taking him to the mosque is part of the prophetic guidance. As for exchanging gifts and using balloons, there is no text reported concerning them, but it is hoped that there is latitude in them for expressing joy, as this is one of the characteristics of Eid, similar to decorating homes in Ramadan (definition). The veneration of Friday should be instilled in the boy's mind, and what is legislated for it should be explained.
