The answer

The Eid prayers are a great good and a significant reward. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) encouraged women to attend them to witness the goodness and blessings. It is recommended for women to go out for Eid prayers without perfume, and not wearing clothes of fame or adornment. Rather, they should go out in their everyday clothes and keep away from intermingling with men. The Eid prayer is the best of supererogatory prayers, and jurists have differed regarding the preference between Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha prayers. Some scholars have interpreted the Almighty's saying: "So pray to your Lord and sacrifice" (Quran 108:2) as referring to the Eid al-Adha prayer, and His saying: "He has succeeded who purifies himself, and remembers the name of his Lord and prays" (Quran 87:14-15) as referring to and the Eid al-Fitr prayer.
