Does a boy before puberty who commits indecency or its preliminaries lose any of his dignity, manliness, or chivalry, knowing that he was aware that it was wrong?

A child is not accountable before puberty and incurs no sin, due to the hadith (definition): "The Pen has been lifted from three: from the sleeper until he awakens, from the child until he reaches puberty, and from the insane person until he regains sanity." However, this does not diminish the seriousness of him falling into sins. Rather, guardians must care for them, educate them, and raise them upon obedience to Allah and accustom them to noble character, as Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire," and as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Command your children to pray when they are seven years old, and beat them for it when they are ten." Al-Nawawi mentioned the obligation for family and discerning children to be commanded to obey Allah and forbidden from disobedience.
