The answer

It is incumbent upon both spouses to live together amicably. This includes having good thoughts of one another and not accusing each other of wrongdoing without evidence. If the husband thinks ill of his wife, she should explain to him the impermissibility of such an act. If this does not help, she has the right to seek a divorce if she is harmed by his behavior, as seeking a divorce without a valid reason is forbidden, as stated in the : "Any woman who asks her husband for a divorce without any compelling reason, the scent of Paradise will be forbidden to her." If the matter reaches a state of discord, an arbitrator from his family and an arbitrator from her family should intervene to reconcile or separate them. It is not permissible for the wife to leave the marital home without her husband's permission unless there is an excuse. Even in the case of a revocable divorce, she must remain in her husband's home until her ' (waiting period) expires, as Allah Almighty says: "Do not expel them from their houses, nor should they leave, unless they commit a clear immorality."
