Is it permissible for a divorced woman who wears the niqab to remove it in compliance with a suitor's wish and in consideration of the nature of the rural family?
The we follow necessitates a woman covering her face, and prohibits her from uncovering it before non- men. We advise against accepting a suitor's condition to remove the niqab, and to persevere in obedience to Allah by covering the face, unless his condition has an acceptable justification, such as his fear for himself or his livelihood due to his wife wearing the niqab. Perhaps Allah will compensate you with someone better than him. Allah Almighty says: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect." (Quran 65:2-3) And He says: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him ease in his matter." (Quran 65:4) In the : "Indeed, you will not abandon anything for the sake of fearing Allah, except that Allah will give you something better than it."
