Is there any advice for someone who intends to travel for Hajj; what should he do before his journey?

Before embarking on the Hajj or Umrah (definition) journey, a Muslim should advise their family to fear Allah, document their debts, sincerely repent from all sins, and return any injustices to their rightful owners or seek their forgiveness. Their expenses must be good and lawful, and their intention for Hajj and Umrah should be solely for the sake of Allah and the Hereafter, avoiding ostentation and seeking reputation. They should associate with the righteous and learn the rulings of Hajj. It is recommended for them, when boarding their means of transport, to invoke Allah's name, say "Allahu Akbar," and recite the travel supplication. They should frequently engage in remembrance of Allah, seek forgiveness, and recite the Quran. They should maintain congregational prayers and guard their tongue from idle talk, backbiting, and mockery. Furthermore, they should show kindness to their companions, refrain from harming them, and enjoin good and forbid evil with wisdom.
