What is the concept of the mother and her role in the family and society in Islamic belief?

A mother is the human's parent, and her role is immense in raising generations and rectifying society, for she raises children doctrinally, devotionally, morally, and physically. Righteous mothers have emerged in the history of the Salaf who had a great impact on educating their scholarly sons. Islam has enjoined honoring the mother and prioritized her over the father, as in the hadith (definition) of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him).
