What is the legitimate Islamic method for resolving the problem of a wife who wants a divorce from her husband after twenty years due to infertility, with no medical impediments from either party, and the husband's refusal to divorce, and the wife being under the influence and pressure of her family?

A woman is not permitted to seek divorce from her husband without a valid excuse, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Any woman who asks her husband for divorce without a sound reason, the fragrance of Paradise will be forbidden to her." Both spouses should seek help from Allah and frequently engage in supplication and seeking forgiveness, for it is a cause for sustenance and offspring, as mentioned in Surah (definition) Nuh.
