The question

Are some of the hadiths mentioned in Sahih Al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, such as the hadith about the shaking of the buttocks of the women of Daws around Dhu al-Khalasah, and the hadith about the conquest of Constantinople through takbir and tahlil, realistic, and did they truly originate from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, especially since some of them seem inappropriate or contradict historical events that occurred?

The answer

The imams have agreed upon accepting what has been narrated in the Two Sahihs (Bukhari and Muslim). Therefore, what is established in them cannot be rejected by reason. The of Dhul-Khalasah is authentic and indicates that people will return to polytheism at the end of time. This is supported by the Hadith: "The Hour will not be established until tribes from my Ummah join the polytheists, and until tribes from my Ummah worship idols." And the saying of Aisha: "The night and day will not pass until Al-Lat and Al-Uzza are worshipped." Daws is a tribe that exists now, and "the shaking of their buttocks" (اضطراب ألياتهن) means the crowding when circumambulating the idol. Challenging these Ahadith is a challenge to the very foundation of the , because their narrators are those whose transmission of all aspects of the divine law has been trusted by the Ummah.
