Is it permissible in Islamic law to fill the gaps between teeth with fillings without changing their positions through orthodontics, which is the opposite of the forbidden tooth-gapping?

Ibn Mas'ud's Hadith (definition) in the Sahihayn regarding the Prophet's (peace be upon him) cursing of the tattooer, the one who has her eyebrows plucked, and the one who files her teeth for beauty, indicates the impermissibility of changing a woman's creation, whether by addition or reduction, in pursuit of beauty. Therefore, if filling gaps between teeth is for treatment, it is permissible; otherwise, it is not.
