The answer

It is permissible to attribute the Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, to his fathers, grandfathers, tribe, people, and homeland, as he used to attribute himself to his fathers and say: "I am the son of Abd al-Muttalib." It also came in the that Allah chose him from Banu Hashim. However, attributing him to a modern nationality or state is not correct, because his message is universal and for all people, and Muslims are one nation.
