The answer

The mentioned in the question is authentically reported in Muslim, from Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: "I have never smelt ambergris, nor musk, nor anything whatsoever more pleasant than the scent of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him. And I have never touched anything whatsoever, neither brocade nor silk, softer to the touch than the Messenger of Allah, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him."
