What is the authenticity of the noble Prophetic hadith that speaks of subtle polytheism (shirk al-khafi) and the opening up of worldly pleasures and women?

The most dangerous thing to fear for the Ummah is minor shirk (definition), specifically showing off (riya'). Allah will say to those who showed off on the Day of Resurrection: "Go to those whom you used to show off to in the world, and see if you find any reward with them?" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, also warned against the trials of this world and its allure, and the trial of women, indicating that the first trial for the Children of Israel was concerning women. He condemned those women who adorned themselves immodestly and swayed provocatively, describing them as hypocrites.
