What is the authenticity of the two mentioned hadiths: "Indeed, Allah has permitted me to speak about a rooster whose feet are in the earth and whose neck is bent beneath the Throne..." and "I have been permitted to speak about an angel whose feet have passed through the seventh earth, and the Throne is on his shoulder..." and what is beneath the Throne if they are authentic?

Scholars have differed regarding the hadith (definition) of the "rooster/angel whose legs pierced the seventh earth." Some have authenticated it, reconciling the narrations by assuming that the angel was created in the form of a rooster, or that one of the narrators made a mistake. Others have weakened it, such as Imam al-Daraqutni, who clarified a defect in its chain of transmission due to the presence of a very weak narrator, Ibrahim ibn al-Fadl. Therefore, the hadith is not authentic, whether with the wording of "rooster" or "angel." Ibn al-Qayyim favored weakening all hadiths about the rooster except for one.
