When will the Awaited Mahdi emerge, with the abundance of tribulations, the ganging up of enemies, and the glad tidings from some scholars regarding the approaching Caliphate?

Scholars have mentioned that narrations (Hadith (definition)) have reached the level of continuous transmission (tawatur) regarding the authenticity of the matter of the Mahdi, and that he is a righteous man from the Household of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Allah will change the condition of the Ummah through him, from injustice to justice. Among these narrations is: "If there remained of the world only one day, Allah would prolong that day until He sends forth a man from me who will fill the earth with fairness and justice, just as it was filled with oppression and tyranny." As for the time of his coming, its knowledge is with Allah.
