Is one who wished that Imam Al-Shafi'i or Shaykh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah were his father, out of love for them, sinful?

A Muslim must be content with Allah’s decree and strive to acquire glory and knowledge, emulating the prophets, companions, and imams, without wishing for the impossible. The Hadith (definition) warned against the affliction of wishful thinking and turning away from submission (to Allah's will). Merely being related to a scholar or a righteous father does not guarantee knowledge and righteousness, as there have been children of scholars and imams who deviated, such as the son of Noah, peace be upon him. Therefore, it is advisable to abandon this way of thinking and occupy oneself with what benefits in religion and worldly life, and to take the Prophet, peace be upon him, and his companions as role models.
