The issue of the existence and extinction of dinosaurs is not something that is denied by Islamic law. As for the mentioned , its attribution to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is not authentic. It was narrated by Ubayd ibn Waqid al-Qaysi from Muhammad ibn Isa al-Hudhayli, and both of them are weak in hadith. Ibn Hibban ruled that it is fabricated.
