Is it permissible to teach Muslim children the Hadith of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in a language other than Arabic, without indicating that what is being said is a translation of a Prophetic Hadith, which might suggest that the Prophet spoke in that language?

Teaching Sharia (definition) in the language of the addressees is essential for conveying religious rulings. This includes translating Hadiths, provided certain conditions are met. It is preferable for the translator to clarify that "this is the meaning of the Hadith (definition)," or to recite the text and then translate it. However, if this is not done, there is no harm, as long as narrating Hadith by meaning is permissible under its conditions. Muslims, especially those residing in lands of disbelief, should cooperate and maintain good presumption.
