Is the repetition of certain invocations (dhikr) with the phrasing: "by the number of His creation, by His own pleasure, by the weight of His Throne, and by the ink of His words" considered a violation or an innovation (bid'ah)?

There is no harm in repeating these words, as there are texts indicating the permissibility of this form of remembrance (dhikr), including the hadith (definition) of Juwayriyah (may Allah be pleased with her), the hadith of Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him), and the hadith of Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her). These hadiths indicate that remembrance is multiplied and increases according to the number the one remembering (dhākir) refers to. It is necessary to correct the wording when sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) by saying: "O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad equal to the number of Your creation, the extent of Your pleasure, the weight of Your Throne, and the ink of Your words," because the address is to Allah the Almighty.
